These terms explain how the WeMove website and related moving, backloading and transport services are offered. They should be read together with the written quote or booking confirmation for your specific job.
Using this website
This website is provided to help customers learn about WeMove, request moving or transport quotes, and access booking or support services.
We aim to keep the information useful and current, but pages, prices, availability, inclusions and service details may change without notice. You should rely on the written quote or booking confirmation issued for your move.
Quotes, bookings and service scope
A quote is an estimate or offer based on the information supplied at the time. It may change if the inventory, access, dates, distance, pickup or delivery details, special items, waiting time, storage needs or other job requirements change.
A booking is confirmed only when the required acceptance steps have been completed. These may include written confirmation, payment of a deposit, or acceptance through the quote and booking portal.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for giving accurate details about the goods, addresses, access limits, parking, stairs, lifts, fragile items, heavy items, dangerous goods and any other matters that may affect the service.
Goods should be packed, prepared and ready for collection unless your written booking says packing or preparation is included. You must not include unlawful, unsafe, hazardous or prohibited items.
Carriers and subcontractors
WeMove may arrange, coordinate or subcontract all or part of a move, backload, storage task or transport service through suitable carriers, removalists, depot operators or related providers.
Those providers may have operational requirements that apply to collection, delivery, depot attendance, storage, vehicle access and safety.
Payment, changes and cancellations
Payment amounts, due dates, deposits, balances, cancellation charges and change fees are set out in the quote, booking confirmation or payment portal for the relevant service.
If you need to change dates, addresses, inventory or service scope, contact the team as early as possible. Changes are subject to availability and may affect the final charge.
Delays, access and delivery
Pickup and delivery windows are planned in good faith, but transport can be affected by weather, road conditions, customer readiness, depot constraints, carrier schedules, mechanical issues and other events outside our control.
Extra charges may apply if crews or carriers are delayed by access problems, missing information, goods not being ready, or requirements that were not disclosed before booking.
Loss, damage and insurance
You should consider whether your goods need transit, storage or other insurance. Unless your written booking says otherwise, insurance is not automatically included.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to supplying the service again or the reasonable cost of having the service supplied again.
